What is a CLNC®?
The Certified Legal Nurse Consultant® is a registered nurse who has completed the CLNC® Certification Program. This rigorous program teaches the CLNC® to apply his or her clinical expertise to any legal case involving physical or mental health, illness, or injury. Nurses are equipped to quickly pinpoint and interpret medical and nursing issues, and to assist the litigation team with preparing medical-related cases. Tara Bohannon RN, MSN, CWON, CLNC is a San Diego native and a graduate of University of California, San Diego (bachelor’s in psychology), San Francisco State University (Masters in Nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialty in Women’s Health), Emory University (National Certification for Wound and Ostomy care), and a National Certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant.
With more than 20 years of nursing experience, Tara has worked in multiple areas spanning the following:
